2022 Ohio School Safety Summit August 2 - 4

The Ohio School Safety Center (OSSC) is excited to announce that the 2022 Ohio School Safety Summit will be held Aug. 2-4 in Columbus.

The free summit will provide an opportunity for school safety, public safety, mental health professionals, and others to share best practices, training, and resources with schools and community leaders across the state.

Conference presentations and training opportunities will include experts in physical security, mental health, school climate, critical incident response, cyber, threat assessment, and more.

Additionally, there will be an exhibit hall for vendors and plenty of space to chat with colleagues.

This event is free and open to the public, but requires registration.

Who Should Attend this Conference? The OSSC welcomes participants with a passion for improving school safety to attend the conference. The subject matter will be particularly relevant to educators, transportation advisors, school administrators, school resource officers, first responders, school nurses, mental health professionals including school counselors, state/federal/local government partners, elected officials, and other school safety and security professionals.

Call for Proposals
Do you have knowledge to share? The OSSC invites you to submit a breakout session presentation proposal for the 2022 Ohio School Safety Summit. The breakout sessions are used for educating school safety evidence based practices, lessons learned and information sharing. Please fill out this questionnaire if you are interested in being a presenter. Deadline for submitting proposals: Friday, May 13, 2022, 5 p.m.
