OASBO 2023 Annual Business Meeting Details

On Thursday, April 20 at 8:15 a.m., during the Second General Session of the Annual Conference, OASBO will hold its Annual Business Meeting. Following the meeting will be a keynote address from Daniel Juday. There are business items that Professional members will be voting on during the session.

Proposed Constitution & Bylaws Updates
The OASBO leadership has diligently reviewed our organization’s constitution and bylaws and made several proposed updates – a vast majority of which are simple: including clarifying language, defining terms, removing redundancies, and reordering sections for clarity. The Professional members will be asked to approve the proposed changes at the business meeting during the Second General Session of the Annual Conference on April 20. Vice President - Kent Zeman, CFO, Lakewood City Schools - Serving a one-year term ending June 30, 2024; and then will proceed through the chairs of president-elect (one-year term), president (one-year term), and past president (one-year term) all ending June 30, 2027.
 
Secretary/Treasurer - Christine Poetter, Treasurer, Princeton City Schools - Serving a two-year term ending June 30, 2025
