Recommended Slate of Candidates for the OASBO Board of Directors and Foundation Board of Trustees
4/6/2021
by Mike RobinsonWe may be in a new year, but we are facing many of the same struggles due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. But true to the theme I chose for my year serving as OASBO President, OASBO chose to Lead the Change. OASBO’s board and staff have risen to the challenge of leading the organization through these tumultuous times, and it is time to elect the next group of leaders who will continue leading us.
In my final duties as Immediate Past President, I chaired the Nominating Committee, whose job it is to vet and select candidates for the OASBO Board of Directors and OASBO Foundation Board of Trustees. The Nominating Committee and I are pleased to share these recommended slates with you in preparation for the vote at the 2021 Annual Conference.
The slates will be presented during the first general session of the Annual Conference on April 27 and will be voted on and subsequently sworn in during the Annual Business Meeting on April 28.
Thank you to the Nominating Committee Members for their time and service in vetting applicants. Committee members who joined me in screening applicants include President-Elect Maria Rellinger; Past Presidents David Bollheimer and Andy Geistfeld; and Professional Member Kimberly Downs.
This rest of this document gives a summary of candidate applications and OASBO leadership involvement.
Mike Robinson is Treasurer/CFO at Polaris Career Center and is OASBO’s Immediate Past President
