Join us for Regional Accounts Payable, Fall School Finance, & Payroll Seminars!


OASBO is holding three different seminars in each of the regions over the next several months. The Accounts Payable & Purchasing Seminars, Payroll & Benefits Seminars, and Fall School Finance Workshops each have five dates, one in each region in-person, and one virtual option for the central region dates.

Accounts Payable & Purchasing Seminars

The Accounts Payable & Purchasing seminars are designed to ensure financial staff performing duties associated with accounts payable and purchasing are up-to-date on reporting and compliance requirements. Presentations during the seminar include an Auditor of State update, AP best practices & internal controls, 1099/W9/W2 reporting & compliance, USAS coding, and purchasing processes. 

Fall School Finance Workshops

This seminar is intended to provide updates by the Ohio Department of Education and Auditor of State. In addition, we will provide a legal update and have presentations on ethics, investments, special funds, and a panel on board, treasurer, and superintendent relationships. 

Payroll & Benefits Seminar

This seminar is designed to ensure financial staff performing duties associated with payroll and benefits are up to date on reporting and compliance requirements as well as understand health insurance trends, software upgrades, and legal and compliance issues. 

*All regional seminars are in-person with the Central region being offered as a hybrid with zoom links and recording. If you prefer to attend virtually, please register for the central region dates.
