Learn about the financing and procurement options available to your district for smaller projects. We will share advice on navigating challenging financings, procurement options under new state law and managing the construction process. While this presentation will have a focus on smaller projects, much of the content will be applicable to larger projects as well.

Randy Drewyor is the treasurer/CFO for Perrysburg Exempted Village School District. Prior to joining Perrysburg he served as treasurer/CFO for Huron City Schools and Bright Local School District. Randy has over 30 years of experience in the private sector in various technical and management positions.

Drewyor holds MBA from Ohio University and a BS from Miami University.

Brock Miskimen

Brock Miskimen practices construction, procurement, and ethics law, regularly advising clients on project delivery systems and preparing procurement and bidding documents as well as construction project contracts.
Brock worked in various government offices before joining Bricker Graydon, giving him experience navigating multiple levels of government. He served as chief legal counsel for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), where he also advised the Oil and Gas Leasing Commission. While there, he coordinated litigation involving ODNR with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, including the settlement of a multi-million-dollar matter involving decades of flooding. He also advised ODNR on the construction and renovation of the Department’s infrastructure, including dams, lodges, and cabins, and managed outside counsel contracts while overseeing an in-house legal staff of more than a dozen attorneys and professionals.
